But because of his great love for us,  God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions - it is by grace you have been saved.

We see each woman as a mission field, where each one will be given an opportunity to learn to love God, to love and respect herself, and to love and forgive others. It is our earnest desire that each lady will develop to her fullest potential.

Our Organization

Watercolor Butterfly 12

The Butterfly House DBA Saving Grace is a ministry dedicated to providing a safe home for women rescued from sex trafficking. We are not just responding to trafficking that is already taking place, but we are actively working on the frontlines.

We believe in the power of prayer and the importance of providing a safe place for those who have been trafficked. A place where she can finally be free.

We believe in the power of awareness and educating the public to help defend those who are helpless. We believe in compassion and expressing an unconditional love for one another.

Our Story

In 2019, I was introduced to Charlotte Miller, Founder of The Butterfly House. I heard about this organization through my church connect group and was immediately drawn to their ministry. Before meeting with Ms. Miller, I began donating items and giving monetary support. Once I had the opportunity to meet with Ms. Miller, I felt led by the Lord to begin a more active involvement in The Butterfly House and the mission to rescue ladies from sex trafficking. After a few months, she mentioned that a lady had been rescued  from sex trafficking in the Shenandoah Valley area. This area happens to be where I grew up and it solidified in my mind and heart that God was calling me to this particular ministry.

Since May of 2020, The Butterfly House has received several calls to house rescued ladies, one of the calls from the Shenandoah Valley area. Ms. Miller and I met and we began a series of discussions to establish a home in the Shenandoah Valley.

There was such a pull on my heart to know ladies who had been rescued from nefarious acts of modern day slavery, and yet had no safe home with open doors. That is when we decided to take action.

I am excited to announce we are establishing "Saving Grace" in the Shenandoah Valley area. This name is very dear to me because it is in honor of my great grandmother "Grace", who reared my father and his sisters, after they were orphaned at a young age. My father has said many times he was "Saved by Grace."

Saving Grace will be the first long term safe home in the Shenandoah Valley area. Our safe home will welcome ladies 18 and over rescued in any area in the United States.

This organization is incredibly dear to my heart. Together we can make an impact in the lives of these young ladies.

Our Safe Home

When established, Saving Grace will be the first long term safe home in the Shenandoah Valley area for ladies 18 and over, rescued from human trafficking.

Sex Slavery is heart-wrenching and real. Traffickers, often pimps, use threat or force, coercion, abduction, fraud, deception, abuse of power, payments to person in control of the victim to make profit. Giving no care to the victims well being or future.

You can help us provide a loving, nurturing, and safe home for these women. Join us in providing for our Recovery Home and invest in a life.
